I have been developing software for over 20 years, mostly in fields where mistakes cost money and where there is pressure to innovate. Over the years I have built up knowledge especially in commodity trading, utility operations and treasury.

I started as a consultant and developer on projects for large companies such as ČEPS, E.ON, Škoda Transportation and many others. I dealt with the full range of problems, from design through to operations and support, which gave me a wealth of experience. Over time I specialised in energy and utilities and moved to ČEZ, where I developed and ran large trading systems (ETRM, Xenergie) as well as smaller applications that made users’ lives easier. After ČEZ I joined Alpiq, where I continued as a dedicated senior developer of the in-house ETRM system, with an overlap into analysis and solution design.

I have always valued the chance to listen to customers and design innovative solutions that deliver real value, which is why I have been running LiveSystems since 2018. Besides leading the team, I enjoy analysis, design and implementation, including the support that follows – that is why I stay active in all of these areas.
